PNW strives to be a ‘one stop shop'. In addition to PNW ‘s fleet of various transportation equipment the company also provides tank containers. These tank containers also referred to as IMO, ISO or UN portable tanks and are suitable for the safe storage and transport of both hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquid commodities. Whether by truck, rail, ship, or barge these UN and US DOT approved tanks can legally and safely transport your cargo worldwide.

Both new and used tank containers are available on either a Lease, Lease Purchase, or Sale basis. Capacities ranging from 3,698 gallons (14,000 L) to 6,868 gallons (26,500 L) fit inside the standard ISO/CSC configuration of a 20' x 8' x 8.5' tall container frame. PNW will work closely with your project or operations team to determine the ideal size, model and type of tank to satisfy your intermodal requirements.

Model:Asphalt / Bitumen Tank Containers

Description: PNW Equipment Inc., have worked with our international and domestic clients to develop a very efficient transportation/storage package for the Bitumen/ Asphalt product. Sizes ranging from a 20' x 8' x 4'3" high to a 20' x 8' x 8'6" high ISO /CSC approved for intermodal use. Payload weight up to 69,250 lbs with a MGW up to 81,570 lbs! Lined flame tubes allow for heating of the product back to a liquid state. Tanks be loaded by a man lid at the top of the tank or though a load/discharge port at the bottom of the tank.

Various capacities are as follows:

20' x 8' x 4'3" cubic ft = 457 Capacity = 3,554 gallons

20' x 8' x 6'  cubic ft = 736  Capacity = 5,502 gallons

20' x 8' x 6' 6" cubic ft = 810 Capacity = 6,060 gallons

20' x 8' x 8' cubic ft = 1034 Capacity = 7,731 gallons

20' x 8' x 8'6" cubic ft = 1108 Capacity= 8,288 gallons

Description: PNW Equipment Inc., can also supply tank containers that are suitable for the transportation of bulk cement or coal powder by rail, road and water worldwide. These low pressure pneumatic tanks can transport up to 55,000 lbs of product in a standard 20' x 8' x 8'9" with heavy lift fork pockets ISO CSC frame with an MGW of 63,934lbs.

Description: PNW Equipment Inc. can provide tanks to safely transport various gasses as well. Both higher pressures and lower pressures are available different from standard tanks. Liquified Natural Gas tanks and refrigerant cargoes require higher or lower maximum allowable working pressures than standard tanks.
